Amplifying social enterprises internationally

What we did
Brand design

The UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.

Wanting to make a clear case for the importance that social enterprises can play in driving sustainable and inclusive development to address some of the biggest social and environmental challenges targeted by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, The British Council and Social Enterprise UK with support from the World Bank, created a series of reports addressing just this – Think Global, Trade Social: How business with a social purpose can deliver more equitable and sustainable development for the 21st century.

Featuring a foreword by Nobel Laureate, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Champion were approached to design a series of reports featuring challenging and complex narratives.

Each report was designed to visualise the content in an easily accessible way. We created an entire set of infographics that uniquely merged data streams to better show correlations of behaviour and trends in emerging markets.

The report was praised by the UN Sustainability Council and its influence inspired the continuation of the programme throughout Northern Africa and the Middle East.
